Remco Sales & Service, Inc., is a Charleston-based business founded in 1971 by William J. “Bill” Young after Remington Rand decided to close its Charleston district office. Upon this, Bill took the initiative to keep the office open, and with his team, Remco was created. He stepped down as President in 2003, but remained active with the business through 2011. Bill passed away in February 2014, and he is missed by his family, customers, and friends.
Bill’s son, John, graduated from WVU and joined Remco in early 1983 as a Service Rep and soon made the switch to sales. Today, John holds the titles of President and CEO, and he remains in sales. You can contact John at [email protected]
